Ameko Mochi is a Historical Mochi Shop Established in 1782. We have been striving to deliver our customers delicious and traditional Mochi throughout the decades, holding great pride in our products. Our ingredients are domestically sourced. The key ingredients are locally grown Glutinous rice from Fukui, Brown Sugar from Okinawa, and Red Beans from Hokkaido. This is our Holy Trinity. Our signature product (Abekawa Mochi) wrapped in a bamboo leaf can only be found here at our shop within the prefecture. We value our traditional process of making each item and these efforts have been recognized widely across the country.
